Do Not Sell My Data
Last updated: 15 July 2026
Our Commitment
Sankalpath is a technology company. We exist to serve our clients, not to monetise personal data. We want to be unequivocal about this:
We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data to any third party — for any purpose.
This has always been our practice and is a fundamental part of our values. This page exists to provide transparency and to inform you of your rights under various privacy laws.
Your Rights Under the CCPA / CPRA (California, USA)
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives California residents specific rights regarding the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Under these laws, "sale" includes making personal information available to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, and "sharing" includes making it available for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Sankalpath's position:
- We do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
- We have not sold or shared personal information of any consumer in the preceding 12 months.
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know: Request what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, or sold.
- Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Opt-out: Direct us not to sell or share your personal information (though we already do not).
- Non-discrimination: Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
- Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Limit use of sensitive data: Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
Your Rights Under Other US State Privacy Laws
Several US states — including Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), and others — have enacted privacy laws granting residents similar rights. While specific provisions vary by state, these generally include:
- The right to access, correct, and delete your personal data.
- The right to opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising.
- The right to data portability.
- The right to appeal a denial of your request.
Regardless of your state, Sankalpath does not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. We honour all valid data rights requests from US residents.
Your Rights Under the GDPR (European Economic Area)
If you are in the EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provides you with comprehensive data rights. While the GDPR does not use the term "sale" in the same way, it restricts any processing of personal data without a valid legal basis.
- We do not process your data for direct marketing or profiling.
- We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your data.
For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy.
Your Rights Under Indian Data Protection Law
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA), you are referred to as a "Data Principal" and have the following rights:
- Right to access: Obtain a summary of your personal data being processed and the processing activities.
- Right to correction and erasure: Request correction of inaccurate data or erasure of data that is no longer necessary.
- Right to grievance redressal: File a complaint with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
- Right to nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
Sankalpath does not engage in the sale, sharing, or commercial exploitation of your personal data under any definition.
